The ability to switch off individual sockets - that's what I bought it for.
Not a negative just a warning - it doesn't have "grounding pins" in the sockets - if your appliances need them, choose one that does.

I'm working, I've turned off all the switches
they could add some anti-slip/rubber feet/stickers on the bottom

switching off individual sockets
classically simple design
price
the switches light up a bit more than they could and the light cannot be switched off
the sockets are quite tight and you can't put larger adapters next to each other
1.4m cable may not be enough for everyone

Sometimes it is useful to have a separate switch for each socket.
For me it is invaluable
