I must once again highlight Alza's completely unacceptable approach to delivering an order scheduled for a specific day (5 days in advance!) and a specific time for CZK 400. What’s more, this was a delivery in Prague in August, not somewhere on the border during a blizzard.
Lights up nicely, chills and freezes, so it does what you'd expect from a fridge.
We ordered delivery for a specific day and time. In the morning, a text message arrived without a word of apology, stating that the delivery was being moved by 20 hours to Saturday morning - without anyone asking if we would be at home on Saturday. Unbelievable attitude from Alza.
The fridge didn't come with a Czech manual – even though it's required by law; but we did get a separate French manual for installing the correct freezing indicator.
The transparent drawers in both the fridge and the freezer are made of a very thin plastic; it's only a matter of time before they crack. Even old Czech fridges from the 60s had strong, solid transparent plastic, and the containers are often still in use today.
Poor layout of the three shelves in the door - the one for bottles is 38cm, even though the tallest bottle is only 30cm, but the top two shelves are for dwarves, barely fitting a block of butter lying down; the shelves are built-in and can't be moved.
