I thought about this mouse for a long time, but we were a little afraid of the shape. After the initial strangeness of both the shape of the mouse and the wheel, I have to say that it is a really perfect working mouse. I have to say, I' m using it on a Macbook Pro 15“ with M1 and absolutely fine.
The main buttons are really quiet
Two wheels
BOLT
Battery life
The side buttons are noisier than the main buttons

I already owned the original version of MX Master, then MX Master 2S and now I bought the latest model. Absolutely the best mouse for work you can get today. It can also handle some lighter playing (basically you can play everything with it without any problems, it' s just not very suitable for FPS). The new version has a slightly more stable connection thanks to Logitech Bolt technology and is super quiet compared to previous versions. I bought it in combination with the Logitech MX Mechanical Mini wireless keyboard, they work together perfectly and, in addition, only one adapter in the PC is enough. It is worth something, but it pays off for the comfort of sitting at a PC!
Ergonomics
Battery life
Lots of features and options for remapping buttons in any application or program
Higher price

Except for the new USB projector, which should ensure safer and faster communication of the mouse to the connected device, and the volume of clicking buttons, I do not see much difference compared to the original version. It is basically the same as the original Master 3 version. I would recommend the upgrade if you do not have the original version, or you are bothered by the mentioned points
The main buttons are much tighter than the original Master 3 version
Slightly noisier forward, backward and gesture buttons than the original Master 3

High quality and expensive mouse. You cannot use the customized function in your corporate laptop as you need IT approvals so for me it was useless.

If you have Windows or Linux - go for it with no hesitation!
I spent 3 days trying to get it working properly with MacBook - nothing helped. It freezes every minute for a few seconds. A lot of discussions on forums for oast three years - but so far logitech did nothing.
Returning it, getting the Apple Trackpad instead…
Quality of materials
Wheels are perfect
Overall design and ergonomics
Integration with MacOS

It has no battery so it has to be connected to the computer by cable at least periodically to charge it. I haven't used it enough to see have often it needs charging.
