I originally purchased the CONCEPT OV1110 Perfect Air dehumidifier. Although it was advertised for a room with a recommended size of 15 m², it did not solve the humidity problem significantly (rooms 6 and 13 m²). Just the helper we've been missing in our household! I picked this rather cheaper model on the recommendation of a friend and it greatly exceeded my expectations, so I came back to write a review. What is the difference from the more expensive models I don't know and don't need to know. Did you know that the optimum humidity in an apartment is 40-60%? And that if it stays higher for a long time, you'll get something mouldy? Last year my wall around the window got moldy, so I bought a hygrometer. I live in a relatively new apartment building and the humidity is in the 50-60% range, rather higher, and I try to ventilate regularly. During the summer it's fine, but when it's cold or raining outside, you open the window wide enough to be bearable and it's down a few % at most. The problem arises, for example, when I take a hot bath/shower in the evening and in a small bathroom I pull the humidity up to 90-100%, and then when I let it into the apartment I am immediately at an average of 60-65% (the extractor in the bathroom will not help me or you), the humidity just does not disappear. Not to mention cooking, dishwasher, etc. But when I close this dehumidifier in this bathroom with almost 100% humidity, it knocks it down to 50% within half an hour! So it completely solves my problem, I definitely only need to run it occasionally for a shorter period of time to maintain the desired humidity. Oh, and if you're drying clothes on a drying rack inside your apartment (which can normally pull the humidity up in the apartment, too), I'd recommend locking them in a room with this dehumidifier and you'll be amazed at how quickly they dry.
