After a few uses, the bottom cover melted on the hob. It was standing normally inside the house on the worktop; the airflow to the fan was not blocked. Suddenly, whilst we were cooking (heating water for pasta), a foul smell started to come from the hob, and even though we switched it off straight away, the cover had already melted. Our complaint was repeatedly rejected by the after-sales service with a brief statement that we had damaged the cooker ourselves. Well, thanks then – the cooker’s off to the electrical waste bin, and I really don’t want to see the Sencor brand ever again. Fortunately, we didn’t burn down.
