Easy to wire with clear schematics. The controls lack a detailed application manual, probably for Shelly products in general. Only videos and chats on the site. It's pretty cluttered to find specific problems, but when one enjoys it after trying and playing for a while, it works great. When setting the times, it took me a while to deduce that it is not specific hours that are set, but lengths of time intervals. I use to control the underfloor heating from the overflow of electricity. and that's how I burned through about a grand overnight.

Shelly is a great brand, and this is their top product, with very wide options. WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, AccessPoint and range extender for other devices, writing your own scripts for automation (e.g. HTTP server + client), webhooks on events, option of buttons with configurable behavior, option of switching by built-in button, and more. Suitable for both the general user and the engineer.
Shelly, in all her glory.
Wide range of settings
Easy to assemble, good replacement for mechanical clocks
Application, even web interface
Easy timing (e.g. clock or dusk) or switching on on command
Extension functions, custom automation options
Does not fit perfectly on DIN rail, can be moved sideways
