After that, it doesn’t matter which Wi-Fi network you’re on; you can disconnect the extender and the device will continue to work.
It can be controlled using a wall switch, but please note that the light only works in this way if it is already on before you switch the switch to the ‘off’ position; it will then come on when you switch it on again.
