Generally speaking, it's fit for purpose - if your only purpose is to switch the socket and as a bonus to be able to painlessly connect the device to Home Assistant. And you don't mind the unnecessarily large size. But the problem is the quality of the signal. The socket's got an absolutely terrible signal. I have it in the same room with a zigbee battery thermometer and the thermometer has a link quality of 159 while the socket is an embarrassing 70. I don't have another device in the whole apartment that has as bad a signal as this outlet. As a zigbee signal extender, it's usable.
