The colour doesn't match at all; the kettle is a metallic grey with a green tint. The plastic of the base, handle and the entire lid has a khaki grey-green colour. The touch control is finicky; to turn it on, you always have to press the temperature first and then power. The controls directly on the side of the kettle are impractical. It would be better on the base or at least on the handle, which you tend to have turned towards you. The plastic base is a paper-thin moulding, you'd almost need to glue it to the worktop. It's 1500W, which didn't seem like a big difference compared to my old 1750W one, but in terms of time it's a massive difference—it takes two and a half minutes to heat 400ml of water. The body of the kettle itself is nice, and the display is nice. Shame about the colour of the plastic, that is really disappointing.
perhaps just that it is "the Tefal brand"
it works, slowly, but it works
the colour doesn't match, the kettle is grey-green
it's slow, 1500W seemed OK, but it's desperately slow
plastic base in khaki green like on a £10 kettle
temperamental touch controls
