If you are having the appliance installed by a Whirlpool contractual partner, you will then still have to call a gas engineer for an inspection of the connection. However, this might only apply to our locality, but it's best to check to save yourself the hassle and money.
Stainless steel finish, looks better than in the photo (this may be subjective),
easy to use, doesn't have too many unnecessary programmes (an advantage for older people),

Gas safety cut-out (the lid has to be open, which might be a problem for someone who wants to remove it completely).
