Noise

Unwanted noise is evident in the photographs as grain or bright colored stains. Noise most often occurs when shooting in low light conditions.

In addition to the negative impact on the quality of data, noise also increases file size on memory cards.

Random noise

Occurs:

  • Due to insufficient amount of light
  • Due to high temperature of the sensor chip

When shooting under good lighting conditions, the level of random noise is almost zero.

Dark noise

Occurs:

  • During long image exposures
