Compasses - additional info
A magnetic compass is a simple device operating on the basic compass principle. A compass is used for orientation in the field, identifying the cardinal directions, or measuring the azimuth. It is both a practical tool for outdoor explorers and a delightful toy for children. The compass needle always points to the Earth’s magnetic pole, making it sufficiently accurate for most orientation purposes.
Don’t lose your way
The quality Suunto compasses are designed to serve as reliable travel companions. They are equipped with liquid-filled capsules for better compass needle stability. The needle is made of high-quality steel. The compasses are balanced for the northern hemisphere.
