2. Select device
Select a device that was previously purchased from us and that you would like to trade-in.
3. Select device condition
For this device, please choose its current condition (e.g. “like new”, “lightly used”, etc.).
4. Describe device condition
Assess and describe the device's condition – basically, how well it works (power on, charging, Wi-Fi, signal, and other key features that affect its performance and usability).
5. Contact details
Enter your contact details so we can complete your device trade-in request.
6. Pack your device
Carefully pack the device and deliver it to any AlzaBox. On the device screen, select “Send” and enter the provided case number.
7. Money for your purchase
We'll send you the funds for your next purchase. And you'll know you've made a good choice – for yourself and for the planet.
How does it work?
What devices can I sell?
We buy the following devices purchased on Alza.cz: phones, tablets, smartwatches, laptops, gaming consoles, camera lenses, and cameras.
How do I get paid?
Once your trade-in is approved, we'll send the payment directly to the bank account you provide via e-mail.
What affects the amount I receive for my device?
The final offer depends on the device's condition (wear and tear, battery health), functionality, age, included accessories, and other factors.
How do I submit my device for trade-in?
You have up to 20 days after completing the online form to drop off your device at any AlzaBox. Make sure it's carefully packed and labeled with your case number.
When and how will I receive my payment?
Within 5 days after placing the device in an AlzaBox, we will contact you with a proposed trade-in price. Once confirmed, the money will be sent to the account you provide.
What if I do not agree with the proposed trade-in value?
If you're not satisfied with the offer, we will send the device back to you.
Is the trade-in offer also available for business customers and VAT-registered entities?
Alza now also allows trade-ins from legal entities and customers registered for VAT. In such cases, the trade-in price is displayed including VAT and will also be paid including VAT. Invoicing is handled via self-billing, where Alza issues the tax document on behalf of the customer. The customer must include this document in their VAT control statement.
Do I need to include accessories (headphones, charger, etc.)?
It is not a requirement, but if accessories are missing, the trade-in price will be reduced by the value of the missing items.
Do I have to buy a new device as part of the trade-in, or can I just sell the old one?
No, you can trade in your device without making a new purchase.
Can devices purchased in another country be traded in? (e.g., purchased on Alza.sk but now living in the Czech Republic)
The trade-in program only applies to devices purchased on the Alza.cz e-shop.
