LP Record Ghost's "Meliora" is the band's third album to hit the shelves. And just like their previous records, in 2015, the Swedish band Ghost is once again synonymous with heavy psychedelic doom rock. You can now listen to ten new tracks. Formed in 2008, the band presents itself as mysteriously as ever, with masks being a part of every performance. Papa Emeritus III handles the vocals on the new album once again. Klas Åhlund, who has previously worked the controls for Robyn and Madonna, also contributed to the production. Fans can look forward to new tracks like "From the Pinnacle to the Pit", "Mummy Dust", and "Deus in Absentia".
LP Record Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder is releasing a solo studio album, but that's not all – he's also releasing a unique concert DVD! As the name "Ukulele Songs" suggests, Vedder recorded this album accompanied by this very instrument. Among the sixteen tracks, led by the single "Longing To Belong", you'll find two unusual collaborations. Cat Power recorded "Tonight You Belong To Me" with Vedder, and, most notably, the well-known Glen Hansard once again proves his vocal prowess on the song "Sleepless Nights". Hansard was in a relationship with Markéta Irglová for several years, and their duet "Falling Slowly" even won an Oscar for Best Original Song.
LP Record Sam's Town is the second studio album by the American rock band The Killers, released on 2nd October 2006 by Island Records. The album was produced by Flood, Alan Moulder and The Killers. It was recorded at The Killers' own Battle Born Studios in Las Vegas, Nevada. The album's title is derived from the name of the town where the band's frontman, Brandon Flowers, was born, in addition to the album being recorded at the band's own Battle Born Studios. The first single from the album, the song "When You Were Young", was released on 21st August 2006.
LP Record The Bloodhound Gang album "Show Us Your Hits" from 2010 is a great mix of old and new songs. The album kicks off with "The Bad Touch", a classic Bloodhound Gang track. The next few songs on the album are newer pieces, but they still have that classic Bloodhound Gang sound. The album finishes with a few more classic songs, including "The Ballad of Chasey Lain". Overall, the album is a superb mix of old and new material and is a must-listen for any Bloodhound Gang fan.
LP Record The Idiot is an album by Iggy Pop, released in 1977. Produced by David Bowie, it is considered Iggy Pop's first solo album. The album marked a departure from the earlier work of Iggy Pop's band, The Stooges, and is regarded as a proto-punk album. It was well-received by critics and achieved commercial success.
LP Record "Seventh Sun" is much more than just a single; it's an exemplary track that lets Scorpions celebrate their unmistakable, legendary DNA with a new, heavier sound. At the start of "Seventh Sun", Rudolf Schenker's Flying V masterfully and almost mystically transports us into this powerful song, which follows in the tradition of Scorpions classics like "Animal Magnetism" and "China White". Artistic building blocks like this once again underscore the band's intention to reaffirm the great Scorpions DNA on their new album, "Rock Believer". The single's spectacular artwork was designed by Grammy winner Klaus Voormann ("Best Album Cover 1966"), who also designed the cover for The Beatles' award-winning album "Revolver".
LP Record Six years after the release of his sixth studio album, "The Demon Diaries", LP is now available as a limited 180g red vinyl edition. Over the years, Parov Stelar has meticulously sampled, remixed and referenced some of the most influential sounds of the past. He samples sounds from bygone eras, breathing new life into them and bringing them into the present day. It is the definition of a certain style, a certain sound, THE Parov Stelar sound. Musical demons are not always as dark and evil as they might first appear. The driving force behind "The Demon Diaries" is the author's restlessness. Although often perceived as an affliction, here it acts as a catalyst for creativity, a desire to push things further, go faster and fly higher than ever before.
LP Record New Christmas album for 2022. As we all know, the greatest joy is in the anticipation, and this is especially true in the run-up to Christmas. Perhaps that's why the Kelly Family have already announced their new Christmas album for 2022, which is set to be released on 18th November. "Christmas Party" is the title of the album, which will be the Irish-American pop-rock group's first Christmas album since "Christmas For All" in 1994. It's rumoured to feature a total of 16 tracks, including new Christmas songs by the Kellys, new arrangements of old Kelly songs, and traditional carols. "Christmas Party" is already available to pre-order on CD and as a limited-edition fan box. As soon as we have more information, you'll find it here.
LP Record The Stones make music history once again On 25 March 2016, the time finally came: The Rolling Stones performed for the first time in the Cuban capital of Havana. Their fans had to wait decades for this moment, as rock music had long been banned in Cuba. "Havana Moon" is the name of the new concert film and live album that impressively documents this historic performance across several special formats. Admission was free that evening, as the low local wages meant almost no one could have afforded a ticket otherwise. The fans gratefully accepted. Attended by approximately 450000 people, the show was the largest rock concert in the history of the Caribbean island nation.
LP Record Better late than never Rolling Stones fans shouldn't complain about the band's output in 2019 being too sparse. Following the greatest hits collection "Honk", which was released in April, there is now a new live album: "Bridges To Bremen". The name alone reveals which concert recording this is. The recording was made at the Weserstadion in Bremen during the "Bridges To Babylon" tour in 1998, specifically on 2 September. An incredible 40000 fans were there as the rock legends performed classic hits like "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", "Gimme Shelter", "Sympathy For The Devil", "Honky Tonk Women", "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and many more. You can find the full tracklist for "Bridges To Bremen" below.
