Perhaps the manufacturer has not tried to use this product at all. The impossibility to feel the buttons in the dark and the way of setting the alarm surprised me. Being woken up by radio is more suitable for the hearing impaired or in noisy environments. I'd be comfortable with a volume of 6 or so, but it's set to a fixed volume of 12. The maximum listening volume of the radio is 15. For these reasons I have returned the product and cannot recommend it.
