I like flavourful coffees where you can really feel some flavour, usually these are selective coffees from 600 CZK/kg upwards. Here, unfortunately, I feel nothing of what makes me look forward to this coffee and brew it with pleasure. For me, this is an average to below average Italian style coffee (over-roasted), which is tasteless and devoid of ideas. Actually, it's just bitter and leaves an unpleasant aftertaste on the tongue. I tried espresso on lever, lungo and finally left for guests for a cappuccino. Of course there's a lot of positive reviews, this is very individual. I prefer less roasted coffees from local roasters that can be had for similar money.

Our AlzaCafé Espresso is roasted to a rather darker profile to work well in espresso drinks and with milk. This can make it seem less pronounced or flat compared to the light roast selections you're probably used to. However, it should definitely not be overcooked or without aroma.
