If you're looking for a reliable NI-MH battery charger, I've not had a better one, li-ion charges as it should, but diagnostics and all that other stuff, I'd rather not talk and have a comparison. Just for info, charging all 4 NI-MH AAA at current up to 1A on a 41 degree battery, 36 on the charger, don't worry, the battery is a Varta recharge accu AAA1000mah maybe someone in previous reviews had a different one. to Li-ion I charged a large 26650 on this charger and also without any problem. I think that for this price you can't get a better charger (compared to SKY RC MC3000), but this is profi over profi.

I read the reviews and was deciding to buy this charger, as according to the reviews the batteries get very hot when charging 1A. I found that if the charger is connected to the AlzaPower Qualcomm quick charger 3.0, it charges at 1A for each individual battery. However, if a charger is used that delivers a maximum current of 1A (used Samsung 5V, 1A), then 4 batteries are individually charged at about 0.5A, when charging 3 batteries it is about 0.7A and when charging 2 batteries it is about 1A. Charging from 0V (measured with a multimeter) also seems to work well. AlzaPower AAA rechargeable batteries were used for testing. To operate the charger, I highly recommend reading the instruction manual. If the charging current is tuned so that the batteries don't heat up significantly, the charger would get 5*
