I was choosing speakers for my PC. I was deciding between this and the Edifier R1280DBs. I chose these for more practical control, smaller size and a more pleasant sound. They are also more suitable for PC (headphone output, front control). Compared to the R1280DBS, the MR4s have a more balanced sound across the frequencies, while the R1280DBs are built stronger towards the Bass. So for all the above reasons I went with the MR4 and I have no regrets at all, they are great and exceeded my expectations.
