I wanted to upgrade to have a keyboard and mouse in white and the only mouse I had didn't have USB-C yet, so I welcomed USB-C on this new mouse. For starters, to the ignorant person who knows nothing about POWERPLAY, it's a wireless charging functionality so that when you use your mouse wirelessly, you never have to deal with charging the mouse. I just bought the mouse thinking that the POWERPLAY wheel would be included like the G903 mouse I upgraded for (that had it included in the 3K price), but I found out after a few days, that the mouse doesn't charge and after removing the magnetic round cover from the bottom of the mouse, I found out that you either have to swap the POWERPLAY wheel from the old mouse like I did (the old mouse is black) or you have to get it somewhere and I don't even know if you can get it here. Review after 4 years: the mouse is great, for me it's a fully-featured and better-looking replacement for the original G502. Everything still works. Compared to most mice, this one has a few extra buttons, the thumb button in particular is great - and if you keep clicking it by accident, there's a replacement part included in the box - the button can be swapped for a non-clickable thumb rest, effectively removing it. However, the rubber material on the sides of the mouse started to peel off after a couple of years (2, maybe 3). It's more or less a cosmetic defect, but it bothers me that something is constantly crumbling under my thumb. The second thing is that after buying it, I realised that the "Plus" version with the RGB LED is actually completely useless for me, the LED just drains the battery for no reason, and it can't be turned off completely (it can be turned off most of the time, but for example, the LED lights up when turning the computer on/off), so next time I'm buying the Lightspeed version. The RGB isn't worth the price difference. However, that's a matter of personal preference.
