It is my first dashcam, so I have nothing to compare it with, so I will write my subjective impressions. It's quite heavy, I was quite surprised by that, let's see how the 3M double sided tape will hold on the glass in direct sunlight. Alternatively, there are two additional double-sided adhesive tapes in the package, which is fine if the one prepared by the manufacturer just came loose, or if you decide to put the camera in another car. When set to the maximum resolution of 2.7K, the camera is quite hot, however, the manual says that the maximum operating temperature is 70 degrees, so I assume that it should not overheat in the sun, I will see when a few hours in the sun. In the package you will find a one-year license for NAVITEL navigation for your mobile phone with maps of 45 countries. Useless for me, I use google maps, I would rather appreciate if the manufacturer included some adhesive grips on the cable. These are not included in the package and you have to sort them out on your axis, otherwise the camera cable will get tangled everywhere, or you have to disassemble the car padding and tuck it behind it. The display shows how fast you're going, but I set the display to sleep after 3 minutes so it doesn't disturb me while driving. The image quality is not dazzling, although the manufacturer praises it on the web, but it's a camera for 2500kč, somewhere even less in the discount, so you can not expect the quality as from a mobile for 10 thousand, right: -) The quality of the video is more than sufficient for possible use as evidence. The video also shows the date, time, geographical coordinates and speed, which is also nice when used as a proof video. the camera also records sound, from inside the car of course. The first thing to consider is buying a micro SD memory card. Without it, the camera is non-functional and does not record as it has no storage. It won't even let you update the software through the Navitel DVR Center app. By the way, updating the software is a little bit tricky. The camera has wifi, so you can pair it with your mobile phone by logging on to the wifi network that the camera is broadcasting. The password can be found in the manual or directly in the app in the connection settings. Once you connect to the camera, your ndroid phone will get a message in the notification bar that you are not online on the wifi network from the camera and if you still want to stay connected, you have to confirm that you are, otherwise the camera will not pair with the phone. After confirmation, you can see in the app that the camera is connected. You give the software an update, but then you have to go back to your classic wifi or mobile data to download the software, then you connect to the camera wifi again and the software updates. Navitel DVR Center - the app you have on your phone allows you to view the videos or pictures you have taken on your phone and download them to your phone after connecting via wifi to the camera. Which is fine, you don't have to scold the sd card from the camera etc. you have the possibility to set how long loops the camera records videos in 1min, 3min and 5min. I gave myself 5mins and the resulting video was about 600MB, which took some time when downloaded to my phone via wifi, so I ended up shortening the loop to 3min intervals. Then the videos are uploaded at 3 minute intervals until the card fills up and I suppose they will hopefully then start to overwrite themselves and I won't have to keep an eye on it, I don't know yet, it hasn't happened yet. In addition, in this app you have the same camera settings as the camera in the menu, but it is faster through the app, even though the camera does not have a touch screen and you control everything with a few buttons from the bottom. For me, the ability to control via mobile and download or view videos via wifi is great, you don't have to manipulate the camera at all. You can add the NAVITEL SMART BOX MAX to the camera, which ensures that the camera has power even when the ignition is switched off, in case you get hit in a parking lot when you are not at the car. has a shock sensor so it turns on recording when it moves. You can also adjust the sensitivity of this sensor, but I will play with it when I buy this box, it costs about 600kč. Another cool thing for me is that you can buy a rear camera for 500Kč and connect it to this existing one. So you can see behind the car when you're riding, and you also have video documentation in case you get rear-ended. I'm gonna buy that, too. So for 3500Kč you have a wide-angle traffic record from the back and front and the possibility to film when someone crashes you somewhere in the parking lot when you are not near the car. Which happened to me recently, and I got a scraped door and fender. So for me a very good price/performance ratio.

Tělo kamery působí kvalitním provedením a i design je jednoduchý, nenápadný, takže v autě nepřekáží a neruší. Držák na čelní sklo hodnotím jako jedno z největších plus. Přichycení je rychlé, pevné a drží i v horku. Sundat ho zpátky šlo jen s velkou námahou, což ale beru spíš jako výhodu – nechcete, aby vám kamera při jízdě spadla. Obsluha je snadná – stačí vložit paměťovou kartu, naformátovat v kameře a po připojení do napájení se automaticky zapne a začne nahrávat. Je potřeba mít ji neustále zapojenou, což je ale standard. Video je za dne ostré a čitelné, v noci se kvalita trochu zhorší, ale záznam je stále dobře použitelný. Zvuk je v nahrávkách poměrně kvalitní. Pro běžné situace to bohatě stačí – jen jako technologický nadšenec bych ocenil vyšší rozlišení, třeba 4K. Velmi dobře funguje GPS – kamera celou dobu sleduje rychlost jízdy, která odpovídá tachometru, a údaje se automaticky ukládají přímo do videa. Přes Wi-Fi se kamera rychle propojí s telefonem. Aplikace funguje celkem dobře, můžete rovnou sledovat záznamy nebo fotky z kamery. Co mi přišlo trochu slabší, je upozornění na radary a rychlosti – podle popisu by tam tato funkce měla být, ale v praxi se mi nic nehlásilo, kromě železničních přejezdů. Stejnou zkušenost jsem měl už u jiného modelu Navitel, takže to asi není náhoda. Celkově kamera nabízí dostačující kvalitu obrazu i zvuku, přesné GPS údaje, jednoduché ovládání v češtině a výborné přichycení. Nenabízí pokročilé asistenty, ale to kompenzuje spolehlivostí. Pokud hledáte kameru, která vám poskytne jistotu a klid při jízdě, tohle je dobrá volba.
