I've only had the coffee machine for a short while and have only tried a few drinks so far. I'm happy with it for now. What I don't really like about the machine is what a big plastic block it is, but I was expecting that when I bought it (It might not be ideal for a smaller kitchen). For me, the taste of the coffee is comparable to other automatic coffee machines, it just takes a bit longer to prepare, but on the other hand, the machine doesn't take as long to heat up as other machines. Some people might find it a bit more high-maintenance (because of the removable brewing unit), but for me, that's actually a plus, because you can then clean it thoroughly and not just rely on a tablet. The milk frothing system is easy to take apart and very similar to other coffee machines. I also see a big plus in the fact that some parts of the coffee machine can be washed in the dishwasher on a programme up to 60°C.

Tried it for the first time today and the coffee machine does what it's supposed to. It makes a lovely foam and isn't too noisy. We're happy with it.

The Siemens EQ500 classic coffee machine met my expectations. Thanks to the display with its colour icons, preparing coffee is a matter of pressing a single button. The coffee has a rich crema and the milk foam is thick and smooth. I really appreciate the milk frothing solution with the external tube – it's hygienic and the system quickly steam-cleans itself when finished. The removable brewing unit on the side makes regular cleaning of the entire interior much easier.
Simple and intuitive touch controls with clear drink icons.
Great taste for both espresso and milky specialities (cappuccino, latte macchiato).
Milk hose system – no need to clean a special integrated container, you just dip the hose directly into the milk carton.
Easy maintenance – the brewing unit can be easily removed and rinsed under running water.
You can adjust the intensity and size of the coffee.
More frequent automatic rinsing when turning on and off (the drip tray fills up with water faster).
The glossy black plastics and the drip tray are prone to minor scratches and fingerprints.

For the price of 4,600 Kč (after cashback), this is probably the best deal I could find. For me, someone who isn't a total coffee fanatic and more just drinks coffee for the caffeine, it's the ideal choice. Simple, tastes good. I believe it wouldn't be a bad choice for more demanding users either.
