Connecting the disk works like connecting any other USB, finally I don' t have to open the case, look for a sata cable and restart the computer when I want to connect a backup sata disk. The only thing I would complain about the product is the “length“ of the cable. The 20 cm or so is really ridiculous, it won' t reach the usb port even if I put it directly on the computer, let alone on the table. I.e. together with the product, I recommend buying another usb extension. But aside from this problem, I am satisfied with the adapter and it met my expectations.
I did not test what is the maximum size of the disk that can be connected, I connected a 3TB disk and it connected without problems.
Simple connection of SATA disk to USB
reading and writing speed
the power cable is included in the package, so you can also connect normal 3.5-inch drives that cannot be powered by USB power alone.
