It is therefore “portable“ and intended for transport. I carried it in my backpack (top pocket) about 20 times during the whole time, no chipping, because I have it there, so it' s pretty easy. Otherwise, it is lying on the table at home. So he was treated with extreme kindness at his destination. He' s leaving just as visibly. I recommend only for occasional data saving for fun, more for children and so on. This is matched by a friendly price. You simply cannot expect excellent quality for this money. It' s quite possible that I was unlucky with the wrong piece, but apparently I' m not the only one having problems. So rather a quality that we would like to avoid. For a serious backup of important data DO NOT BUY! Better to pay a few hundred (or thousands) more. And by the way, a friend, a PC repairman, warned me at the beginning. Hey, those WD portables aren' t completely reliable. Well, he hit the spot.
