The phone caught my eye at first glance with its well-made design. It looks modern, elegant and has a high-quality feel overall. After using it for a while, I'm also happy with its practical side. The battery deserves high praise with its really good life, and the 100W fast charging is very addictive. The phone is zippy, the responses are quick and everything runs nice and smoothly. The large AMOLED display with its beautiful picture is also great, making it a joy to watch videos, look at photos and do everyday work. I was also pleased with the camera, the stereo speakers and the phone's increased durability. Overall, the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G offers a great combination of design, performance, battery life and fast charging. I am very satisfied with the phone and so far it has met my expectations.

A huge step up from the Redmi Note 12. It feels luxurious, my wife loves how the back cover changes colour in the light. The display is brilliant and the speed is superb. We only have a 67W charger at home and charging took less time than with the old mobile, but the battery capacity is obviously on a completely different level. After one day of intensive use, it's still at more than 63%. So far she's only tried a few features and taken a bunch of photos and she's thrilled.
Heavier and larger, might not suit everyone, but the battery and its life are worth it.

I bought the phone on pre-sale with a discount code and free gifts. Without them, I think the phone is slightly overpriced, and although I've been a Redmi fan for a long time, since the 14t series I have a different view of Xiaomi phones and I'm spoilt by its cameras.
Large battery
Insight
Good display brightness
Personally, comparing it to the 15 Pro, I don't like the camera, as with the deal the price is quite similar.
Heavier thanks to the battery, but that's also a positive.
The power brick isn't included, only the cable.

This new Xiaomi is absolutely brilliant. I've only had it for a few hours, but you can finally really tell the battery is there. Otherwise, it's the usual stuff, better photos, faster speed, and so on and so on.

My daughter is delighted with the Cloud Blush design. The phone has a large battery capacity, fast charging, takes lovely photos, and despite its size and weight, it fits well in the hand.

The new REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G is a real beast. The 10,000mAh battery is incredible, I've had it for three days without a charger and it still has plenty of juice, and the display is beautifully readable in the sun. For me, it's the ideal machine if you want a phone that can handle absolutely everything and you don't have to keep plugging it in.

It's a Xiaomi, or rather a flagship Redmi, so I've been happy with them for years.
This new addition to the Xiaomi family has turned out really well. Although it looks like they've skimped on the camera, the opposite is true. It does lag behind the 17 ultra in comparison, but the lens aperture is excellent.
100W charging.
Reverse charging.
A new type of battery with a huge capacity.
Excellent photographs.
A nippy operating system.

I've only had the phone for a short time, but I can already say it's a very good choice in terms of price/performance. The phone has intuitive controls and wide-ranging user customisation options. And what I like most is the camera. It takes really beautiful photos, and with the PRO mode, even for an amateur, the photos aren't a complete mystery. Adjusting the noise, light, etc. I'm extremely satisfied with the phone.

During setup, it offered two display options: classic and another one which feels like an iOS style (you know, where the back button isn't displayed). They state a three-day battery life, but I think it's more like two and a half. It depends on how much you use it.

The weight; compared to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 it's noticeably heavier, but that's because of the battery.
