LP Record The Congregation is the fourth album by the Norwegian progressive metal band Leprous. Released on 25 May 2015, it is the band's first album to feature drummer Baard Kolstad, who replaced Tobias Ørnes Andersen in 2014. The album was written between 2020 and 2022, a time when Archy Marshall was commuting between his two homes in London and Liverpool. It was during these journeys that his fascination with what he calls the "space between" developed: a space haunted by dreams of love, while Archy's lyrics deal with personal loss.

After the German thrash metallers had all the songs in the can and had pre-produced them back in 2015, the band headed to Sweden, specifically to Fascination Street Studios, where a familiar face, producer Jens Bogren, sat behind the mixing desk. The result is a total of eleven new Kreator tracks, in which Mille Petrozza (vocals, guitar), Sami Yli-Sirniö (guitar), Christian "Speesy" Giesler (bass) and Jürgen "Ventor" Reil (drums) are not entirely alone.
