Maneskin: Mammamia Ltd Pic
LP Record There's no getting around it: Måneskin's new single. Måneskin have long been established stars in their native Italy. And since they took first place at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest, the rock band has become unavoidable here, too. Following their second album, "Teatro d'ira Vol. I", which was released in March 2021 and reached number one in Italy and number eleven in Germany, the Roman rockers are releasing another new single at the end of the year: "Mammamia". At a press conference, Damiano David explained that they wrote the song shortly after their ESC victory: "We only had a few days to go into the studio and write new music, but luckily this song came together in a few hours – so we felt it was going to be a banger for us."

Tom Waits: Closing Time
LP Record The seventies still shape Tom Waits's image to this day. Although the singer, songwriter, actor, and writer, born in 1949 in Pomona, California, has lived a relatively well-off, middle-class life for decades, he still holds a romantic reputation as a drifter, an eccentric, and a lover of alcohol. A blend of Charles Baudelaire and a young Charles Bukowski, he gives a grumpy voice to those in the gutter of high society. The starting point was Waits's debut album, "Closing Time", released in March 1973. The record was made the year before in just ten days with a studio band led by producer Jerry Yester.

Sufjan Stevens: A Beginner's Mind Ltd Clr
LP Record Films in the evening, music in the morning. It was once said that writing about music is like dancing about architecture (impossible and absurd). But what about singing about films? That's the exact idea behind the new collaborative album from Sufjan Stevens and Angelo De Augustine, "A Beginner's Mind". And this is how they brought it to life: the American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist and his fellow American musical colleague took some time off at a friend's cabin, watched films at night, and wrote songs together in the morning, taking turns on music and lyrics. The result is 13 songs, loosely based on mostly popular films. The source material is sophisticated, low-brow, and everything in between.

LP Record One of the most sought-after albums in rock history, in a limited edition on heavyweight green vinyl with a four-page colour insert. Features an extensive essay by rock writer Malcolm Dome and interviews with singer Peter French and original guitarist and co-writer Mick Halls. Long considered a stoner rock classic and a pivotal moment in the development of heavy metal. "Leaf Hound were so far ahead of their time with their tantalising cocktail of drugs and distortion that their only album, Growers Of Mushroom, still sounds like it was released yesterday. It's also the blueprint for every 'stoner rock' album ever made."
