LP Record Deep Purple with an unusual lineup On 27 February 1976, Deep Purple played a legendary concert at the Long Beach Arena in California. With "Long Beach 1976", a mastered version of the live recording is now available on two CDs and three LPs. The performance was first released in 1995 under the title "King Biscuit Flower Hour Presents: Deep Purple in Concert". A new version of the live album followed in 2009, titled "Live at Long Beach 1976". The album "Long Beach 1976" features the so-called Mark IV lineup of Deep Purple, consisting of singer David Coverdale, guitarist and singer Tommy Bolin, keyboardist Jon Lord, bassist and singer Glenn Hughes, and drummer Ian Paice.
