This song is for every one of you who has either supported us from the beginning or joined us along the way. It started with a demo simply titled 'Abandon'. In a time of loss, uncertainty, and insecurity, the intention was to write a heavy song that reflected those feelings.

LP Record Car Seat Headrest fans will be thrilled: Will Toledo's 2011 opus, "Twin Fantasy", has been officially reworked! Toledo has known for years that the songs still had room for improvement. Back when he was 19, he recorded "Twin Fantasy" on a cheap laptop. You could hear the "sound of failure" (Brian Eno) in the tracks. In other words, Toledo's first love, to whom the songs are dedicated, was too big for the recording medium. Now, however, with a full band, bigger financial resources, and most importantly, time to think about how everything should sound, he has made his vision a reality. The mix for the drums alone took eight months to get right. This isn't just an alternative version; it's the album Toledo always wanted to make.
