LP Record While Scorpions were still slowly making a name for themselves in Europe, they were already a recognised force in Japan, and "Virgin Killer" was the first of their albums to go gold in the land of the rising sun. It was therefore high time for their first trip to the Far East. Four months after the release of "Taken By Force", the band arrived in Tokyo in 1978. The schedule included four concerts: one in Osaka, one in Nagoya, and two at Tokyo's Nakano Sun Plaza. These two performances were recorded for the live double album "Tokyo Tapes", which was also intended as a farewell gift for the departing Uli Jon Roth.
LP Record Saxon released their eighth studio album, "Rock The Nations", on 13 October 1986. It was recorded at Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum, the Netherlands, and produced by Gary Lyons. Biff Byford, who coincidentally started his career as a singing bassist, played all the bass parts on the album, but Paul Johnson is credited as the bassist, having joined the band shortly before its release. An unusual guest on the Rock The Nations album is Elton John, who plays piano on the tracks "Northern Lady" and "Party Til You Puke". This version includes radio edits of the singles, several live B-sides, and three tracks recorded by the BBC during Saxon's set at the 1986 Reading Festival.
LP Record Pure excitement Three years ago, Kylie Minogue released an absolute dance smash with her album "Disco". The album was a global success, reaching number three in the German charts. Now, the Australian pop icon is releasing its successor, "Tension", and promises another highly danceable record. It's an album full of euphoric, powerful dance bangers and spirited pop songs. Take, for example, the hypnotic electro track "Padam Padam", which opens the album. Or "10 Out Of 10", a collaboration between Kylie Minogue and the successful Dutch producer Oliver Heldens. The song was released in April and has already been streamed millions of times. In total, "Tension" features eleven inspiring tracks packed with feel-good, upbeat melodies that seize the moment.
LP Record Released in 1987, "The Eternal Idol" was Black Sabbath's eighteenth studio album. The album was produced by Jeff Fenster and was the first to feature singer Tony Martin. "The Eternal Idol" was not as successful as the band's previous album, "Heaven and Hell", but it reached the top forty in the UK and US charts. The album's lead single, "The Shining", became a minor hit in the United States. The album's title track was released as a promotional single in the United States. "The Eternal Idol" has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.

LP Record Born somewhere in the Arizona desert, Puscifer are an electro-rock band, a multimedia experience, a travelling circus and survivors of alien abduction. The band's back catalogue consists of three studio albums – "V is for Vagina" (2007), "Conditions of My Parole" (2011) and "Money $hot" (2015) – plus a number of EPs and remixes. In addition to the core trio of Maynard James Keenan (vocals), Mat Mitchell (guitar, production) and Carina Round (vocals, songwriting), the group's ever-evolving lineup includes Greg Edwards (bass, guitar, keyboards), Gunnar Olsen (drums) and a cast of characters such as Billy D and his wife Hildy Berger, Major Douche, Special Agent Dick Merkin, and many more.
LP Record A reissue of the fourth album from NWOBHM legends, Saxon. "Denim And Leather" is the fourth studio album by the legendary heavy metal band Saxon, originally released in October 1981. It features the singles "Princess Of The Night" and "Never Surrender", was recorded at Aquarius Studios in Geneva, and became the band's most successful album to date. This new deluxe edition includes the B-side to "Never Surrender" and eleven live recordings from the 1981 "Denim And Leather" tour.
LP Record Saxon's ninth studio album, "Destiny", was recorded with Stephan Galfas at Hookend Manor studio in Berkshire, England, and released on 20 June 1988. It's the only album to feature the rhythm section of Nigel Durham (drums) and Paul Johnson (bass guitar) alongside long-time members Biff Byford (vocals), Graham Oliver (guitars), and Paul Quinn (guitars). Biff, a fan of Christopher Cross's songs, had the idea to create a cover version of his song "Ride Like The Wind", reworking it in the style of "Wheels Of Steel" and using it as the lead single. This version includes a 12" mix of "I Can't Wait Anymore" as well as live B-sides and several alternative monitor mixes.
LP Record Blackout is the seventh studio album by the German rock band Scorpions, released in 1982. The album was recorded at Dierks Studios in Cologne and mixed at Record Plant in Los Angeles. Blackout is the band's first album to feature guitarist Matthias Jabs. It was a commercial success, reaching number six on the Billboard 200 chart. The RIAA certified it platinum. The album produced four singles: "No One Like You", "Dynamite", "Bad Boys Running Wild", and "Rock You Like a Hurricane". Blackout is considered one of the band's best albums. It was voted the second-best album of 1983 in the Kerrang! Awards.
LP Record When Scorpions entered the studio at the end of 1979 between two tours to record the album "Animal Magnetism", they were under immense pressure to write and record the songs in a very short time. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, they created a masterpiece with "Animal Magnetism" that has stood the test of time for decades. "Animal Magnetism" is one of Scorpions' most innovative albums. It foreshadowed the development that would, a few years later, lead to the emergence of a distinct heavy metal sub-genre. The title track is a prime example. Its slow, hypnotic, yet subliminally aggressive and powerful groove contains all the ingredients of what would later become known as doom and groove metal.
LP Record Emerson, Lake & Palmer's album Tarkus, released in 1971, is a cult progressive rock classic. The title track is a 21-minute epic that tells the story of the fictional Tarkus, a war machine from the future. The album is full of virtuosic playing and complex arrangements, and was praised by critics and fans alike. It is considered a classic of the progressive rock genre and has been cited as an influence by many later artists.

Now, the Australian pop icon is releasing its follow-up, "Tension", promising another highly danceable record. It's an album full of euphoric, powerful dance bangers and spirited pop songs. LP Record After the astounding success of their last studio album, "Love At First Sting", and the live album "World Wide Live", the Scorpions were under enormous pressure to deliver in 1988. The musicians retreated from the public eye and barricaded themselves in the studio for almost three years, meticulously working on the follow-up with producer Dieter Dierks. On "Savage Amusement", the Scorpions presented themselves as more mature and showed that, in terms of production technology, they belonged to the hard rock avant-garde more than ever. Despite all the changes, the album was still a typical Scorpions creation: a hefty dose of barely restrained aggression and dynamism, beautiful harmonies and melodies, brilliant guitars, and, of course, the unique voice of Klaus Meine.
LP Record Jean-Michel Jarre's "Equinoxe" is a groundbreaking album in the history of electronic music. Released in 1978, it helped to define the genre and has been cited as an influence by many later artists. The album consists of eight tracks, each named after a different season. Jarre's synthesisers create a lush, atmospheric soundscape that is both relaxing and uplifting. The Equinoxe album is a must-listen for any fan of electronic music and is sure to leave a lasting impression.
LP Record Angus Stone is best known as one half of a duo with his sister, Julia. The siblings have long been stars in their native Australia and, for several years now, have been welcome guests at the top of the European charts. For some years, Stone has also been touring solo with his project, Dope Lemon. His new, second album was released in 2019. "Smooth Big Cat" is the follow-up to 2016's "Honey Bones" and the 2017 EP "Hounds Tooth". For the album, the musician recorded and produced ten songs. Instead of folk and pop, "Smooth Big Cat" features electronic sounds and nineties slacker rock with lo-fi charm. Dope Lemon revealed what this sounds like with the first single, "Hey You".
