How to update products
This guide explains how to request edits to products you've already listed. In the "Product listing and edits" module, go to the "Upload XLS template" tab and check the box "Update already listed products."

Then simply upload your file by clicking the "Upload" button, and your table will be placed into the product listing queue.

Use this option if you need to update product descriptions, EANs or SKUs, parameters, categories, or images. For images and parameters that have multiple values, always specify whether you want to replace the existing ones or add new ones.
Image, description, EAN, and SKU updates (everything except parameters for a specific category)
It is possible to make updates for multiple product categories within a single table.
- For updating: EAN, SKU, Descriptions, Images, Dimensions, and shipping weight.
- The simplest method is to locate the products to be edited in the Product status module and export them into a table.
- Save the table as an .xlsx (Excel) file and rename the sheet to Data – otherwise, the table upload will fail.
- The table must contain the columns Name and EAN for identification (Alza code is not required but can also be helpful), along with the columns where changes are needed.
Parameter updates
Only one product category can be edited per table.
- Download the current (not previously downloaded) listing XLS template from the "Generate .XLS template" tab.
- Fill in the EAN, the SEO product name, and only the parameters you wish to update – leave all others blank.
- If you need to edit parameters for two products from different categories, two separate tables must be uploaded.
In the example below, we are editing the Tent composition parameter for 3 products in the same category, and adding an image for one of them.
The table must contain only the products and parameters you want to update. For product identification, we require EAN and Name. If those haven’t changed, no other data is needed.

Important notice:
Updates via feed are not supported. Any feed uploaded for updates will be automatically cancelled.
Common mistakes
New values don't match the current value lists. How to fix: Before changing parameters, always download the current listing table from the AlzaTrade portal and use only values from their value lists.

Want to request a change in descriptions? For most products, we have automatically generated descriptions that are created based on the parameters you provided when listing. If you want to replace the default automatically generated description, you need to contact us and arrange for premium descriptions. Finally, the last common error we often encounter: the table contains products and parameters not intended for an update.
