According to the online reviews I had rather high expectations, in the end I am rather disappointed with the camera. The image is over-sharpened with artificially "displaced" contrast. As a result, on a sunny day there is much less detail in the shadows than with older competing cameras. Compared to the older Mivue camera I own, this model also struggles a lot with glare from the (dark grey) dashboard - without a polarizing filter, the A810S is noticeably worse. What I have to praise is the amount of accessories available (including a suction cup instead of a "sticky" windshield mount) and the wider angle of view of the lens. The user interface is clear, the app works nicely. Unfortunately for me, it doesn't make up for the not-so-good image quality during the day.
