I've been using the AeroPress for a year now, so I can finally write a review based on long-term experience. We originally bought it mainly for travelling. I really like that the whole set is compact; everything can be stored inside the mug, and nothing comes apart or takes up unnecessary space in my bag. Plus, making the coffee is really quick and easy. In the end, though, I use it much more often at home, practically every day. I really enjoy the taste of the coffee. I used to make my coffee in a cezve (Turkish coffee pot), but in the morning, you have to stand there and watch it. With the AeroPress, I just pour the water over the coffee, let it brew for a bit while I can do something else, then I come back, press, and it's done. Another big plus is how easy it is to clean and assemble. I regularly wash the press and the travel mug in the dishwasher. After a year of use, everything on the press looks the same as it did at the beginning; only the lettering on the travel mug has faded a bit. Of course, this doesn't affect its function at all. Over time, I also bought a reusable metal filter, so I don't have to worry about paper filters at all anymore. The travel mug deserves its own praise. It keeps the temperature for a really long time. In the summer, I make iced coffee in it – I'll make it at around 8 am, go to work, and around 12 pm, the coffee is still cold, and there's often still ice in it. In the colder part of the year, I make a full mug of hot coffee. At work, I often don't have time to drink my coffee quickly, and it gets cold in a normal mug, but in this one, it's still pleasantly warm even after three hours. I also really like the magnetic lid closure. The magnetic part can be easily removed to properly wash the space underneath it. I've read complaints in some reviews that the mug isn't completely leak-proof and can spill. Personally, I don't consider this a disadvantage – it's a travel mug, not a flask. If you need a container that you can safely throw in your bag when it's full, I think it's better to buy a flask. The space for paper filters at the bottom of the mug is also practical. However, it isn't watertight, so you need to remove it when washing to prevent the filters from getting damp. This was also one of the reasons why I eventually switched to a metal filter.
Compact design, suitable for travelling.
Very simple and quick coffee preparation.
Excellent for daily use at home as well
easy cleaning
Both the press and the mug can be put in the dishwasher without any issues.
The travel mug really keeps drinks hot or cold for a long time.
practical magnetic lid, which can be taken apart and washed properly
space for filters
The travel mug isn't completely leak-proof, so it's not suitable for carrying loose in a bag when full.
The paper filter compartment isn't watertight and needs to be removed for cleaning.
The lettering on the travel mug might fade a bit over time with frequent washing in the dishwasher.

Practical for travel
Excellent coffee
The bottom part of the cup where the spare filters are stored is plastic - due to the greater weight, the slightest fall will mean breaking the bottom part. The mug is further usable, but it's an investigation in the wrong place
The mug leaks and the coffee spills out when tilted
After the third use, the writing on the side of the aeropress, including the numbers indicating the amount of water, started to peel off.
