I used the older model for about 6 years and was very satisfied with it. This model was delivered to me with a loose rubber seal on the mixer (which is fixed on the older model). The rubber band must be put on the cap manually every time. After just one week of use, the rubber band came loose after about half a minute of work and wound up on the propeller of the mixer, which would not stop. You only turn the mixer on and off mechanically, by turning it. I had to pull it out of the drawer, it almost wouldn' t open. My subsequent complaint was not recognized, paradoxically, allegedly due to the wrong fitting of the rubber band and insufficient tightening of the lid. Which is interesting because even then not a drop of smoothie leaked from the blender. Honestly, get anything else, cheaper or more expensive, but this model. Go for something better made (I don' t understand why in 2018 the rubber seal could be tight and 6 years later you have to play vabank every time you use it) or something with a more sophisticated fastening method. This would be money thrown out the window, completely useless, low-quality product, waste.

Unfortunately, we ran into the Glitch after just 4 uses. When you make a claim you have to count that you are longer time without blender I recommend to buy another type or buy 2-3 pcs from the manufacturer Concept.
