This cute little box hides brutally dark wailing synth sounds, it's up to your ear and feel, and with the help of 5 knobs and a "touch" keyboard you can conjure up lush hypnotic darksynth postapo ambient underscores for your tracks. The Ribbon keyboard is quite sensitive and adjusting the knobs will be difficult at first, but the amount of sounds it's capable of generating is huge. It can also be used as a delay effect for another instrument. The sound quality is properly dirty and it's quite noisy, however it's great for some genres and you can learn to work with and use the noise quite well. The Monotron is unique in its workmanship, a perfect instrument for beginners with analog synths, sound experimenters and toy players like me.
