Think twice before buying this product. I had a Lamax C9 camera for a long time, but it stopped working, so I bought this model. The video quality is dreadful; you don't even need to blur out the number plates (see attached photo). On a clear day, it's slightly better, and you can occasionally see the number plates. The fact that it doesn't remember the time zone setting (and possibly the microphone setting too, I don't have the energy to investigate further) is just a minor issue. It's a cheap piece of Chinese rubbish.

If I've already got it, so be it. It doesn't impress but it doesn't offend much either. The instructions only say "use cards from reputable manufacturers" but that's a pretty broad and vague term. So she turned down my first one. When connected via usb-c cable, it just won't boot. There has to be a usb-a on the other end or you can use the original adapter, which is unusable in modern cars. I solved it by buying a usb-c to usb-a adapter, and then a second usb-a to usb-c adapter. It's an unbelievable mess, but it works.
