The filter performs its function to perfection in terms of glare. If you're bothered by seeing the reflection of your dashboard or air conditioning exhausts in the video, this filter is a must. It makes the image clearer and the colours richer. But you have to take physics into account - the filter takes away light (about 1 to 1.5 EV). While this doesn't matter during the day, at night, in the rain or in unlit woods it forces the camera to extend exposure times. The result is more blurring of moving objects (including RZ). If you do a lot of night driving and your priority is sharpness at speed, I recommend you consider not taking it off at night or accepting a slight degradation of the drawing in total darkness. Important notice for future owners: Be careful to get the settings right! The filter is not just a passive glass slide that you just screw in. The CPL filter works on the principle of polarization, so it must be "tuned" after installation on the camera. How to do it: Screw the filter onto the camera thread and tighten it. Turn on the camera display (or live preview in the mobile app). Slowly turn the front filter ring. Watch the image - you'll see the dashboard reflection in the windscreen gradually fade until it's almost invisible. A lot of the negative reviews here probably stem from people not sorting the filter. If you leave it in the wrong position, you will rather harm the image. Take 30 seconds of your time, it's worth it!
