I tested this Victron MPPT controller under real-world conditions on a fishing trip, and it works with engineering precision. My setup and experiences: Wiring: I used two 150W 12V panels connected in series (operating voltage around 44 V). The main 180 Ah LiFePO4 battery was connected to the controller, and the LOAD output was used to charge mobile phones, a power bank, AAA batteries and a 12,000 mAh battery for the model boat. Performance in practice: I was very impressed by how effectively the MPPT controller can handle the high voltage from the panels connected in series and convert it to a lower voltage for a 12V battery, thereby delivering a significantly higher current (A) to the battery. At night, the large battery reliably maintained the power supply; during the day, the controller typically charged at a rate of over 123 W and, at peak times, drew up to 196 W from the panels. Around lunchtime, he always safely charged the battery to the absorption stage (14.22 V) and switched off the panels. In total, the system has generated 3 kWh of clean energy since it was reset. Application: The Bluetooth connection and the detailed history on the smartphone work a treat. The only downside: It’s a great pity that the controller doesn’t have a built-in USB port on the body itself. To charge small electronic devices, you will need to purchase an external 12V/5V USB converter for the LOAD output.
works
It’s a shame it doesn’t have a USB port

small but good
The price could be better, but... It’s not a flaw, just my longing

I bought the controller to upgrade an island PV system for a garden house. This is a real quality product and specifically this one with sufficient voltage and current reserve. It is a good idea to take into account that the minimum nominal voltage at the input is 24 V and the consumption of the reg. is 2W. Control via phone is fine for me because I'm lazy to walk next to the controller and watch the readings.
The controller does what I expected, it has a lot of other features that I still have to study.
This is not about the product, but I would welcome a Czech manual.
