It's a shame the medium roast level from the description isn't accurate; it's a dark, Jihlavanka-style blend and roast. I understand why – the product is called Smrťák (Death Wish) and the key point is the caffeine, which is extracted most from dark beans. A lighter-roasted, specialty Robusta isn't exactly easy to find in Czechia, so I'll keep looking :c A fine Robusta can be deliciously nutty, with virtually no bitterness. This one is a classic for 'turek' style coffee (and probably for an automatic espresso machine), and it will work well for that, with more bitterness compared to the Standard. For other buyers, I'd recommend brewing it at ~85°C if your kettle or machine allows, and not with boiling water. The biggest point deduction is for freshness; unfortunately, it had been stored for a month, which is quite a long time for such a darkly roasted coffee.

The bitterness and caffeine level match the marketing.
