Obliba elektrokol v posledních letech stále více roste. Dají se totiž využít k jízdě ve volné přírodě či ve městě, ale i jako dopravní prostředek na cestu do práce. Elektrokolo představuje jak inovativní dopravní prostředek, tak i způsob, jak se naplno věnovat svému oblíbenému sportu. Nezatěžuje životní prostředí, zachovává výhody mobility, odbourává fyzickou námahu a omezená rychlost zajišťuje bezpečnou a stabilní jízdu. Co vše elektrokola umí?
Elektrokolo je dopravní prostředek pro všechny
Ačkoliv představa elektrokola evokuje jeho používání staršími ročníky, reálná zkušenost je odlišná. Díky usnadnění a urychlení jízdy elektrokolo umožňuje věnovat se cyklistice i lidem, kteří nejsou plně fyzicky zdatní nebo mají zdravotní obtíže.
Mnoho lidí si myslí, že elektrokolo vlastně jede samo a nemusí se šlapat. Tato domněnka je však mylná. Na elektrokole se jezdí jako na jakémkoli jiném bicyklu – šlape se. U středového umístění motoru se pak nachází senzor, který snímá frekvenci otáčení klik. Tato informace je zaslána do řídicí jednotky kola, která ji vyhodnotí a dá pokyn elektromotoru, nejčastěji umístěnému na ose zadního kola. Díky energii z baterie pak dojde k napólování v otočné a pevné části elektromotoru a tak se kolo uvede do pohybu.
Metody, jak lze jezdit na elektrokole, jsou celkem tři.
Jezdíte jako na obyčejném kole – šlapete, rychlosti řadíte přehazovačkou.
Druhá možnost je, že šlapete a kolo vám dle profilu terénu pomáhá udržovat konstantní rychlost. Do kopce motor pomáhá více, na rovině trochu, z kopce vůbec.
Třetí možností je otočné držadlo „plynu“, jak jej znáte ze skútrů či motorek. Díky němu se můžete na některých elektrokolech vozit i bez šlapání.
Pro výběr je zásadní účel použití elektrokola
Při výběru elektrokola je důležité si uvědomit, kde budete nejvíce jezdit – zda to budou divoké horské sjezdy nabité adrenalinem, pohodové celodenní výlety, či ho využijete spíše jako dopravní prostředek na cestu po městě. Hlavními aspekty pro výběr elektrokola jsou jeho využití a délka jízdy.
Baterie jsou alfou a omegou všech elektrokol a čím lepší baterie, tím nižší váha, delší dojezd, vyšší životnost a pochopitelně také její vyšší cena. Hlavní důraz ale věnujte celkovým jízdním vlastnostem. A nejste-li si jisti, nechte si poradit od odborníků.
Elektrokola jsou moderní. O tom není sporu. A rozhodně to není pro nic za nic. Jsou dostupným dopravním prostředkem, který se hodí jak do města, tak do terénu. Šetří energii, ale zároveň jsou vhodným způsobem k udržení kondice. K dispozici jsou v mnoha různých typech podle terénu i způsobu použití.
