An electric dryer is the fastest way to dry fruit. Dried fruit loses water, but retains almost all of its nutritional value. It creates a healthy snack suitable for children and a great alternative to sweets. As you are making it yourself, you always know what the final product contains, so you can avoid feeding your children over-sweetened foods with potentially harmful additives.

A fruit dryer is a practical device for any household. You can preserve fruit, but also herbs, mushrooms, vegetables, and meat. Drying fruits, mushrooms, and herbs is so easy anyone can do it —simply chop the food, put it on the plates, choose the right temperature, and turn on the dryer.
How does the fruit dryer work?
Depending on the size of your dryer, you can dry large quantities of fruit at once. Hot air circulates inside the dryer, making the food inside lose its moisture. The water vapour is vented out of the dryer. Food dryers include a heater, a fan for uniform airflow, and a thermostat for setting the temperature. The last one is very important, as every food requires a different temperature setting. The transparent dryer surface provides a good overview of the drying process. Concept provide a large selection of fruit dryers. Alternatively, you can choose from EZIDRI, Orava, or Sencor products.
