I'm switching from an Asus ROG Strix II, which I just couldn't get on with at all. It was okay for gaming, but I still hadn't got the hang of typing on it after six months. With this new one, I'm typing like a pro again, without any typos. I really like the response, and there's definitely less of that annoying clicking sound. This one really does sound very muted. I thought I'd give it a try and return it if I didn't like it, but I'm 100% keeping it.

Slim, low profile (which I've been looking for for a long time).
The switches are absolutely perfect for me (compared to the Asus ROG Strix II) – mainly for typing, and I haven't been making any typos since day one, it's just brilliant to type on.
Retains the volume control, and the roller has a very pleasant action.
The rubber G keys suit me personally.
You can comfortably hold it in one hand (from the table to your lap, etc.)
I often use ctrl+c/v, so logically I've mapped them to G5 and G4. When I accidentally press G5 instead of control (until I get used to it), I've already got "copy" :D
The material, the knives.
Definitely the G-Hub. The older software was miles better.
It's a real pain, and I've been using it with the G502X mouse for a while now.
Getting a profile with custom key backlighting into the (offline) on-board memory is simply a nightmare. One day I couldn't get it to work at all. The next day it worked.
Ultimately, I'm happy with it. Macros, colours and everything are saved as default and it works straight away on the computer next to it, just like the mouse, and G-Hub doesn't have to be running.

I definitely do not recommend it – see below. the disadvantages described. I wanted to treat myself and buy a premium product. It doesn’t have a Num Lock indicator, and although it’s possible to set the colour of each key individually, this cannot be combined with a setting where the colour would change depending on whether Num Lock is on or off.
The keyboard app is rather limited and poorly designed
Complaints procedure – they took the full 99 per cent of the statutory time limit to replace two switches, and 14 days later I realised that another two on the other side had started playing up as well
Given that you can’t tell whether keys are pressed by pressing them once or double-clicking, using this keyboard is a never-ending source of stress and frustration
