After about 5 years with the MX 2S I decided to upgrade and I have no regrets. Anyway, it's a slight evolution, nothing miraculous. The loud clicking of the predecessor annoyed me, but fortunately they fixed it here.
o against MX 2S it is really quiet, no loud clicking
Lighter
usb-c
fits better in the hand
updating the firmware in the logi app on the mac via bluetooth is hopefully not possible. terrible UX

The hand takes a while to get used to the new shape and after a few hours, there's no going back. Perfection. I have one mouse at work and one at home. + MX3 keyboard from the same series and there is nothing to solve.

Accurate
Excellent ergonomics
Many buttons that can be assigned to different functions in different programs.

The mouse is good, but unfortunately you don't get an uncompromising product for the price either.
Charging indicator
The surface is rubberized, but still slippery
The side wheel for scrolling left/right has a reversed logic (i.e. turning the wheel to the right leads to a left shift of the panel).
You need the Logitech app to change the scroll wheel settings and other mouse behaviors. And here, for example. I'm not allowed to install on a work PC.
The USB connection is only for charging, you can't make it a wired mouse.
It is lighter for a wireless mouse, but quite heavy compared to wired ones
Nowhere does it say anything about battery life

After a year and a quarter and using 10/7, the left button registers about 70% of the clicks. They have to force the button to make it click.

This looks like a scam. Logitech will make a new Bolt receiver that is not compatible with the old unifying receiver system. So you won't connect your new Logitech keyboard to your new receiver, and you won't connect your new mouse to your old receiver. So the advantage of the Logitech peripheral falls with this and you have to have multiple receivers in the PC. You can read about the incompatibility on the official Logitech website. Alza failed to mention them in the presentation, which I consider to be unfair.
Pleasant ergonomics
Not compatible with unifying receiver
