A great coffee machine bought on sale that makes delicious coffee just the way you like it, both in terms of volume and strength. The only downside is the rinsing process every time it's switched on and off, instead of at set intervals; it's happened to us a few times that it rinsed twice within 5 minutes. We get up at different times in the morning and it's not possible to set it to switch off after more than 3 hours.

After switching from the Krups EA829810, I have to admit that the taste of the coffee is a massive step forward. The coffee is significantly better, and the water tank is finally not the size of a shot glass, so I don't have to run for water like a mountain rescue service after every two cups. Preparation is quite fast, the selection of drinks is wide, and the ability to adjust their size will please anyone who wants to have an actual espresso rather than just a spoonful of coffee to taste. I like the design, and the touch control feels modern. What really manages to annoy me in the morning, though, is the lack of a clock and the inability to set an automatic switch-on. Getting up and only then turning on the coffee machine? That's almost like having to jump-start yourself before you get your caffeine fix. Another minor detail is cleaning the coffee grounds – you need to open the front of the machine, so there must be enough free space in front of it. If you have it tucked tightly under a cupboard or against a wall, emptying the grounds can turn into a minor moving operation. Overall, I am happy with the coffee machine. The coffee is excellent, operation is convenient, and the design is great. Just that missing clock is almost a personal insult to a morning person dependent on coffee. 😁
