LP Record The comeback album from hard rock supergroup The Black Country Communion is here. Four years after their last album "Afterglow" and subsequent split, the English-American rock supergroup released a new studio album in 2017. Titled "BCCIV", it's their fourth in total and the successor to 2013's "Afterglow". Just like all their previous albums, "BCCIV" was once again helmed by Kevin Shirley (Journey, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin). The producer, who was involved in the band's formation, is considered its unofficial fifth member.

After all, King Buffalo had already announced their entire pandemic trilogy, consisting of the albums "The Burden Of Restlessness", "Acheron", and "Regenerator", for 2021. But let's not be too harsh, as both of the Rochester trio's albums were among the absolute rock highlights of last year. King Buffalo describe their style as heavy psych, which captures their sound very well. The often overly long tracks are characterised by sprawling soundscapes and slowly building melodies and structures. Repetition to the point of trance, followed by maximum distortion in a crescendo.

LP Record As part of the new Stockfisch IN THE GROOVE series, this LP is released as an audiophile 180g vinyl record, cut using the proprietary NEUMANN VMS-82 Direct-Metal-Mastering (DMM) system. Beth Hart: Bang Bang Boom Boom Pic Ltd Clr
LP Record Hart's fourth album, Bang Bang Boom Boom, was released in 2012. The album was produced by Kevin Shirley, who also produced Hart's previous album, Don't Explain. Hart and Shirley recorded the album at Shirley's studio in Las Vegas. The album features Hart's regular band, comprising guitarists Jon Nichols and Waddy Wachtel, bassist Bob Glaub, drummer Kenny Aronoff, and keyboardist Jim Cox. Hart stated that the album was inspired by her divorce from her first husband, actor Scott Baio. She said, "I was in a really bad place. I was really angry and hurt. I was in a lot of pain, and I was really pissed off. I was like, 'I'm not going to be a victim. I'm going to get up and do something with this pain.'"
