LP Record Hart's fourth album, Bang Bang Boom Boom, was released in 2012. The album was produced by Kevin Shirley, who also produced Hart's previous album, Don't Explain. Hart and Shirley recorded the album at Shirley's studio in Las Vegas. The album features Hart's regular band, comprising guitarists Jon Nichols and Waddy Wachtel, bassist Bob Glaub, drummer Kenny Aronoff, and keyboardist Jim Cox. Hart stated that the album was inspired by her divorce from her first husband, actor Scott Baio. She said, "I was in a really bad place. I was really angry and hurt. I was in a lot of pain, and I was really pissed off. I was like, 'I'm not going to be a victim. I'm going to get up and do something with this pain.'"
LP Record Three years after her debut "Immortal" (1996), Beth Hart released the critically acclaimed album "Screamin' For My Supper". Beth Hart produced the album herself with the help of her long-time collaborator and bassist Tal Herzberg, resulting in a mature, fully-fledged album. The track "LA Song" became a single. With her raw and fragile voice, she sings fantastic up-tempo songs and ballads. It's a more pop-oriented approach, but still with her recognisable sound. She later became one of the big names in female blues rock, recording several albums with blues giant Joe Bonamassa.

LP Record Available again. There's no doubt that John Lee Hooker (1917–2001) is one of the greatest blues musicians of all time. Hooker's career truly took off in 1949 with the release of "Boogie Chillen". The single shot to number one on the rhythm and blues charts and sold a million copies. Two years later, he achieved another million-seller with the song "I'm In The Mood". His blend of vocals and language, combined with infectious rhythms, perfectly captured the taste of African-American record buyers. Added to this was his electrically amplified guitar, with which he created a new, trend-setting sound. During this period, Hooker mostly performed solo. He was occasionally accompanied by musicians such as Eddie Burns, Boogie Woogie Red, and Eddie Kirkland.

LP Record A tribute to Pink Floyd and a concert event a class above: "Dark Side Of The Mule" by Gov't Mule. Gov't Mule celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2014. Gov't Mule is a band whose every concert is unique and unrepeatable. You might think this is true for every band, but for Gov't Mule, it's their policy to never repeat a setlist. That's why it made sense to thank their loyal fans by releasing treasures from their concert archive. The first birthday gift in this small series is "Dark Side Of The Mule". Gov't Mule constantly set themselves new "educational goals". They traditionally give their Halloween and New Year's Eve concerts a theme.
