Kaleo: A/B
LP Record In Iceland, Kaleo are a genuine phenomenon. This year, the four-piece band will bring their captivating blend of folk, blues, and country to our shores. Kaleo quickly shot to fame thanks to performances at events like the Iceland Airwaves music festival. The band's name, which means "the sound" in Hawaiian, certainly lives up to its reputation. From the very first notes, the soulful and melancholic voice of singer JJ Julius Son creeps into the listener's ear – and that's exactly where the songs will stay for weeks to come. After five number-one singles in Iceland, club and festival performances across Europe, and a subsequent record deal with Atlantic Records, Kaleo have also made their breakthrough across the ocean.
