With their unmistakable crossover of powerful breakbeat rhythms, dub bass, hard, punk-rock-inspired guitar riffs and energetic high-speed raps in the mid-90s.

LP Record Greatest New Hits The record label actually "just" wanted a tracklist from Muse for a potential best-of compilation. But the trio, fronted by singer and guitarist Matt Bellamy, weren't convinced. Instead, the band went ahead and wrote new songs, each of which could have appeared on any of Muse's previous albums. The result is that "Will Of The People" has become a kind of best-of retrospective, but with brand new songs. The tracks are correspondingly diverse. The title track is a powerful glam-rock number, with a rhythm that initially brings to mind Marilyn Manson's "The Beautiful People". On "Kill Or Be Killed", Muse sound more metal than ever before.
