Liquid Tension Experiment: Liquid Tension Experiment 3 Dlx Ltd Clr
LP Record In today's progressive rock scene, it seems like a new supergroup pops up every week. But long before this became the norm, and before musicians regularly played in more than one band, there was Liquid Tension Experiment. In 1997, Mike Portnoy (Transatlantic, Sons of Apollo), John Petrucci (Dream Theater), Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), and Tony Levin (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel) joined forces to create Liquid Tension Experiment. The quartet released their legendary, self-titled debut album in 1998, followed by the impressive 'LTE2' in 1999. They crafted a dynamic, wild, and inventive sound that remains unparalleled to this day.
Lou Reed: Transformer
LP Record It's well known that comparisons rarely hit the nail on the head, but in the case of Lou Reed, they also reveal the utter uncertainty of those who made them. Is he the Chuck Berry or Sergeant Pepper of the 70s, or did Reed deliberately toy with the image of an overly sensitive Frankenstein, grinding his neuroses and drug trips into horror-like sounds? "Some records are so disgusting," raged Rolling Stone magazine, "that you feel like physically taking revenge on the artists who made them." The album "Transformer", however, is far from an acoustic assault and is storming the charts just a few months after the somewhat unfortunate debut of Lou Reed's underground-heavy first album.
Asphyx: Asphyx Ltd Pic
LP Record Product information Reissue of the third album by the Dutch masters of doom/death metal, Asphyx. Gloomy, dark, intense and merciless, as they have taught us for over 20 years. This time without Martin Van Drunen on vocals, Asphyx brought in the renowned session bass musician Ron Van Pol as a replacement, without sacrificing any of their signature sound.
Idles: Crawler
LP Record Idles released their second album, Crawler, in 2021. The album is a departure from their debut, Brutalism, and has a more experimental and electronic sound. Critics praise the album for its dark and introspective lyrics and unique sound.
Godflesh: Streetcleaner
LP Record The album "Streetcleaner" is one of the most important industrial metal albums and a milestone in the genre. For years, the British industrial duo has been cited as an influence by bands like MINISTRY, NITZER EBB, and PITCHSHIFTER. This is the 30th-anniversary vinyl reissue of the Godflesh classic. Godflesh is the pioneering industrial metal project from former member and founder of Napalm Death, Justin Broadrick. The groundbreaking debut album "Streetcleaner" features 10 atmospheric and minimalist industrial metal tracks that defined the genre and put the band in the same league as groups like Ministry or Type O Negative.
Def Leppard: Drastic Symphonies
LP Record Def Leppard have reimagined their greatest hits in a symphonic style with the UK's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Orville Peck: Bronco (RSD 2023)
LP Record Released in 2022, Orville Peck's album "Bronco" is a collection that showcases the masked singer's unique blend of country, indie, and alternative sounds. The album features a total of sixteen tracks, including the opening song "Let Me Drown", the energetic "Daytona Sand", and the captivating "The Curse Of The Blackened Eye". Other notable tracks include "Outta Time", which carries a sense of urgency and rhythm, and "Lafayette", which adds to the album's rich narrative tapestry. Songs like "C'mon Baby, Cry" reveal Peck's ability to combine emotional depth with his signature baritone voice. The title track, "Bronco", captures the spirit of freedom and resilience that runs throughout the entire album.

Tom Waits: Alice
LP Record "Alenka" is a spectral, atmospheric chamber piece dedicated to Charles Dodgson's obsessive, forbidden love for Alice Liddell, for whom Alice in Wonderland was created. The piano, pump organ, cello, theremin and stroh violin are the main instruments in this melancholy and comical reflection on death, desire and the random cruelty of life. In the song of the same name, "Alice", Tom Waits adapts the classic blues-jazz ballad poetry from his early career, and in the song "Lost in the Harbour", a sea shanty set to pump organ and strings, he sings about the wall that separated East and West Germany.
Cocteau Twins: Victorialand
LP Record Product information Victorialand is the fourth studio album by the Scottish alternative rock band Cocteau Twins, released by 4AD in April 1986. Vocalist Elizabeth Fraser and guitarist/producer Robin Guthrie created the record almost entirely without percussion, submerging acoustic guitars in a reverberant space to create a wide, expansive sound bordering on ambient.
