LP Record Pavement: Slanted and Enchanted is the debut studio album by the American indie rock band Pavement, released on 20 April 1992 by Matador Records. The album is renowned for its lo-fi production and is considered a seminal work in the indie genre, showcasing the band's unique blend of dissonant yet melodic guitar riffs, cryptic lyrics, and an overall sense of sonic experimentation. The tracklist features 14 songs, including the opening track "Summer Babe (Winter Version)", which sets the tone with its catchy hooks and raw sound.

LP Record This year marks 10 years since the cinema release of the film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and with it, the release of the soundtrack album and score, originally released in 2010 by ABKCO Records. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) has already received a number of accolades, including from The Independent, which ranked it 4th in its list of the "40 Best Film Soundtracks of All Time". Each side of the LP is adorned with a picture of one of the "seven evil exes" from the film, and the eighth side features a picture of Scott Pilgrim with Ramona Flowers. For the very first time, Godrich's score receives a vinyl release and is also available separately on blue vinyl in a 2LP format.

LP Record The Residents are an American avant-garde band from San Francisco, formed in 1969. They played their first concert in 1971 and founded their own record label, Ralph Records, in 1972. The band's trademarks are their eccentric songs and bizarre interpretations of cover versions, as well as the decades-long anonymity of its members. "Gingerbread Man" was released in 1994, and this 3CD edition of the original album also includes 33 (!) previously unreleased tracks, including the 1994"Fat Boy" tape, live recordings, and the extremely rare 1995"Hunters" soundtrack album! Remastered from the original tapes. Plus, a fantastic booklet with rare or previously unseen photographic material.

LP Record The Grateful Dead: Live / Dead is a 1969 album that captures the band's live performance. The album is considered a classic and is praised for its improvisational jamming.

LP Record For the third release in our Stockfisch vinyl collection, we have selected titles from our current programme that are particularly well-suited for playback on vinyl records. The 10 tracks on Volume 3 are characterised by deep, calm and transparent tones. They feature old favourites like Allan Taylor and Steve Strauss, as well as Günter Pauler's new discoveries for Stockfisch, such as Carrie Newcomer from Indiana, Kerstin Blodig from Norway, and the English-Irish group Ranagri. Stockfisch is especially pleased that the renowned American singer Carrie Newcomer could be featured for her singer-songwriter album. Her dark, appealing voice and soulful compositions will enchant any listener.

LP Record When I wrote about John Coltrane on the back of the Mating Call album, I considered his previous experience playing with Eddie Vinson, Dizzy Gillespie, Earl Bostic, Johnny Hodges and Miles Davis. I wrote, “It is apparent from his employment record that he has not burst upon the scene full-blown. It is rather that he has been paying his dues for some time.” This is a time of great build-up. Film stars, TV personalities, presidential candidates, soaps for use in washing machines; they are all sold to the public in the same way. With the advent of hi-fi, the LP record boom and Madison Avenue's discovery of "jazz", musicians are also receiving similar treatment. Every other month, we are greeted with albums by new stars.

LP Record Everything Everything's album "Raw Data Feel", released in 2022, is a testament to the band's innovative approach to music. The album features a diverse collection of tracks that showcase their signature blend of art rock and pop with electronic influences. Among the fourteen songs, listeners can enjoy the pulsating rhythms of "Leviathan", the intricate melodies of "Hex", and the introspective lyrics of "Teletype". The album also includes the emotionally charged "I Want A Love Like This" and the socially reflective "Bad Friday". The band delves into storytelling with "Pizza Boy", while "Jennifer" offers a more personal narrative.
