LP Record Pure magic: the new Big Thief album An album that brings together the many different facets of Adrianne Lenker and the band's songwriting – that's one way to sum up the idea behind the new Big Thief album. "Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You" is the title of their fifth studio album, for which the American indie rock band from New York took a new approach. To explore everything that makes up the music of Adrianne Lenker, Max Oleartchik, Buck Meek and James Krivchenia, they decided in 2020 to write and record an "expansive testament to their growth as individuals, musicians and a family". The album was recorded in four separate sessions: one in upstate New York, one in Topanga Canyon, one in the Rocky Mountains and one in Tucson, Arizona.

LP Record Few other 80s bands changed their sound and style as radically in such a short time as Talk Talk. In six years (1982–1988) and across four albums with EMI, they evolved from the new romantic pop of their debut album "The Party's Over", which featured minor hits like "Talk Talk" and "Today", to the almost archaic avant-garde rock/pop of "Spirit Of Eden". On this album, the band was supported by notable guests, such as violinist Nigel Kennedy and double bass legend Danny Thompson. Review: "If people had been talking about music from another star before, Spirit Of Eden (6/41:26) marked the dawn of another galaxy in 1988." (Good Times, June/July 2012)

LP Record There's no need for nostalgia. Double is better – that's why Deep Purple are releasing two new live recordings in 2015. "To The Rising Sun" is one of them, capturing the rock band's performance in Tokyo in April 2014. They chose the Japanese martial arts and concert hall, the Nippon Budōkan, as the recording venue. This is where Deep Purple recorded a large part of their legendary double album "Made In Japan" back in 1972. On "To The Rising Sun", they returned to the same spot 42 years later – albeit with a slightly different line-up. Singer Ian Gillan, bassist Roger Glover, and drummer Ian Paice were already rocking Tokyo back in 1972. In 2014, they were joined by Steve Morse on guitar and Don Airey on Hammond organ and keyboards.

LP Record Since their formation in 2008, the Moldovan progressive modern metal band Infected Rain, led by the multi-talented frontwoman Lena Scissorhands, has become one of the most exciting acts on the scene. With their frenetically received 2019 album "Endorphin", the band gained a loyal fanbase all over the world, who are now eagerly awaiting its successor, "Ecdysis". From the very first note, the album electrifies with razor-sharp riffs, cosmic electronica, a treasure trove of Lena's vocal abilities, and lyrically deep themes ranging from depression and abandonment to all-encompassing reality.

LP Record Talking Heads spawned a number of side projects, but none were as fun and captivating as Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth's Tom Tom Club. Their debut was recorded in 1982 after the exhausting recording sessions for the "Remain in Light" album in Barbados with Adrian Belew and Steve Stanley from the band Remain in Light. Although the recordings were initially just for fun, "Tom Tom Club" became hugely influential with its blend of alternative and hip hop, and features the hit singles "Wordy Rappinghood" and "Genius of Love". - This reissue from Real Gone Music includes the original elaborate album artwork – a limited edition in honour of the album's Barbadian beginnings.
